Directional drilling, pipe ramming and arc bores for crossings with roads, watercourses and railways. We choose the technique, design the bore profile and deliver the permit drawing for the asset owner.
Each component can be ordered separately. Together they form one drawing that you see grow in the client portal.

01.2.1
Choice of technique
For each crossing we determine which technique fits: horizontal directional drilling (HDD), pipe ramming, arc bore or impact moling. We look at length, depth, soil, pipe diameter and available working space.

01.2.2
Bore profile and design
We design entry and exit points, angles, bend radii and cover beneath the obstacle. Existing cables and pipelines are kept at the distance the asset owner requires.

01.2.3
Permit drawing
For crossings with national roads, railways and flood defences, we prepare the drawing and substantiation the asset owner asks for, such as Rijkswaterstaat, ProRail or the water authority.

Supervision and as-drilled
During construction we liaise with the drilling contractor. Afterwards we process the realised bore line into the as-built, showing the deviation from the design.

Under the road, without breaking it open.
A well-designed bore avoids traffic disruption, damage to the surroundings and surprises beneath the obstacle. The profile is fixed before the drilling contractor arrives.
For longer crossings and greater depths, such as under watercourses and busy roads. For short crossings, pipe ramming or an arc bore is often simpler. We substantiate the choice per crossing.
02
What cover do you design for?
That is set by the owner of the obstacle. Watercourses and flood defences have different requirements from a municipal road. We design to the requirement that applies to that crossing.
03
Do you also supply the calculations?
Yes. Where the asset owner asks for it, we substantiate the design with calculations to NEN 3650 and NEN 3651, such as pulling force and strength.
