Engineering for cables and pipelines.

One engineering team for routes, trenchless crossings and calculations. We design for medium voltage, low voltage, gas, water and data, and deliver a drawing set that works in the trench as well as on paper.

Disciplines

Engineering in three disciplines.

Each discipline has its own page and can be ordered separately. Together they form one design.

Components

What we do, layer by layer.

Each component can be ordered separately. Together they form one drawing that you see grow in the client portal.

01.1

Design basis

We bring together everything the design needs: the KLIC delivery, the BGT base map, earlier drawings, the grid operator’s requirements and what we have seen on site. One base that everyone draws on.

ResultDesign basis with all sources on one map

01.2

Integrated design

Route, crossings and calculations are worked out together. A bore changes the route, a cover requirement changes the profile: you see it in one drawing, not in three separate documents.

ResultCoherent design per phase: VO, DO and UO

01.3

Four-eyes principle

No drawing or calculation leaves the office without a check by a second engineer. We record that review with name and time, so it is always clear who approved what.

ResultChecked drawings with a recorded review

01.4

Drawing set and file

You receive a complete set to NLCS and the grid operator’s requirements, with the design as DXF in RD coordinates. Everything remains available in the client portal.

Input and output

What you provide and what you get back.

What we need from you

Don’t have everything yet? A proposed route or a question is enough to start.

  1. The assignment: a proposed route or the question to define one
  2. Grid operator and discipline (MV, LV, gas, water, data)
  3. Desired schedule and any construction date
  4. Available drawings, KLIC delivery or earlier studies

What you receive

Everything is stored in your project file in the client portal, also after handover.

  • DWGDrawing_set_UO.dwgComplete set to NLCS
  • DXFDesign_RD.dxfDesign in RD coordinates for your own CAD
  • PDFCalculation_report.pdfCover, profiles and crossings substantiated
  • PDFReview_report.pdfCheck by a second engineer

Three disciplines, one drawing.

Because route, crossings and calculations sit with one team, nobody waits for anyone else. A change in one part is processed straight away in the rest.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

More in the knowledge base
01

Can I order one discipline separately?

Yes. Route engineering, trenchless techniques and calculations can each be ordered separately. If you order several, we work them out in one coherent design.

02

Do you work to my grid operator’s requirements?

Yes. We draw to NLCS, supplemented by the grid operator’s specific requirements. If you use your own drawing standard, we agree on it in advance.

03

How do I know the design is right?

Every drawing and calculation is checked by a second engineer. Where the subsurface is uncertain, we verify the design with a trial trench.
